The two Bluefields nestled in the Southern Appalachian Mountain Range is known for having high elevation and relatively distinct weather pattern. And this distinct weather pattern has people referring to the Bluefields as the "Four Seasons Area". The Bluefields having such high elevation is also known as the "air-conditioned cities", this being said every time the temperature gets above 90 degrees free lemonade is served to both communities!
The two Bluefields are home to over 16,000 residents and have approximately 10 schools and 3 colleges right here!
Bluefield, WV also houses the Semi-Pro Football team, Bluefield Barons and the Minor League Baseball team the Bluefield Orioles.
